Arlington VA has a wide variety of real estate to choose from with
condos, coops, duplexes, high rise, mid rise, garden style, town houses,
row houses, detached homes, patio homes, executive estates, equestrian
estates, mcmansions, farmettes and working farms. With most of the
inside the beltway properties built prior to 1970 we have traditional
colonials, salt boxes, ramblers, ranchers, split levels, split foyers
and cape cods closer-in to Washington DC. The further out you explore
for your new home the more modern the architectural designs, styles and
floor plans and (typically) the newer the real estate properties.
Whenever you consider a real estate sale or real estate purchase you
should familiarize yourself with the local real estate market. Of course
you should be able to count on an experience real estate professional
for advice and market trends. Are we in a Buyer's Market or a Seller's
Market? What about the real estate boom of 2000-2005 or the
Northern VA Real Estate Bubble that burst in
2006-2007? Does the market really matter? Are there always opportunities
in every real estate market? As an experience real estate agent I would
say "definitely YES!" As we are about to enter 2008, there is a lot of
good real estate for sale in Arlington County Virginia including: residential
homes for sale, new home construction, investment property and even some
raw land and lots for sale. The residential resale homes market has been
very stable in the more affluent Arlington VA communities. Short Sales,
Pre-Foreclosures and Foreclosures have been more concentrated in lower
valued single family, town home and condo neighborhoods.
