the City of Falls Church
Falls
Church traces it's history back some 300 years. While the city
limits encompass a small geographical area (only 2.2 square miles)
the City is prime real estate with its proximity to Washington DC,
Tysons Corner and the Dulles Technology Corridor. The WMATA's Metro
(Subway) System has stations in East Falls Church and West Falls
Church making the area a very desirable and highly sought commuter
location.
Falls Church is an independent City and although only a population
of about 11,000 they have their own government public school system,
police department, fire and rescue service, library, etc. For 26
years Falls Church has earned the Tree City USA award from the
National Arbor Day Foundation.
